Louisiana State Police Non-Toll Road Report Number Requests

Service Information

Only Report Number Request for accidents that occurred on non-toll roads on or after August 31st 2018 can be ordered using this service.

Each report costs $11.50, payable by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit or debit card.

This service can now be used to perform a real time search using either a case number, driver license number, license plate number, or involved party last name. Reports will be available 10-15 business days after the accident, or once they are approved. Fulfillment of these searches may take anywhere from same day delivery to up to a week depending on their stage of processing. You will receive an email with instructions for how to download the report.

Please allow approximately 15 or more business days after the crash occurs for State Police to have the crash report and photos ready. Fatal crash reports are not available online. If unable to locate a crash report after some time, please contact the responding Troop (http://lsp.org/troops.html).

You must have either the crash report number (8 or 11 digit number), OR the name of the driver involved in the crash (first and last name spelled correctly), the parish that the crash occurred in, and the crash date.

Please check to make sure that you are putting in the correct information of the crash. If you are sure that you have typed the info correctly but still cannot locate, then please email LSP.TrafficRecords@la.gov and personnel can look to see if your crash report and photos are in the system. Should you have questions regarding the content of a crash report, please contact the responding Troop (http://lsp.org/troops.html).

Per the Louisiana State Police record retention schedule, official reports and photos pertaining to crashes worked by Louisiana State Police are stored on the website as far back as five (5) years from the current date.
